Boston Celtics evened up their series against Orlando Magic through Glen Davis’ buzzer beating shot. The final score was 95-94. Davis stepped up bigtime hitting two crucial shots towards the end game and nailing the winning basket of the game. This is almost similar to what happened to Dallas Mavericks yesterday but Melo’s shot became controversial when the referees didn’t call the intentional foul committed by Wright just before he hit the three point shot.
Houston Rockets on the other hand also evened their series at 2-2 against Kobe Bryant’s LA Lakers. Game 5 will be on Los Angeles this coming Tuesday at 10:30 PM ET.

NEW YORK, May 9, 2009 — Joel Litvin, NBA President, League and Basketball Operations, issued the following statement regarding the final seconds of Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals between the Denver Nuggets and the Dallas Mavericks:
"At the end of the Dallas-Denver game this evening, the officials missed an intentional foul committed by Antoine Wright on Carmelo Anthony, just prior to Anthony’s 3-point basket."

Orlando Magic is the team who can beat the powerhouse Boston Celtics. Leading the series 2-1 and game 4 to be played on their home court as well, Dwight Howard’s Orlando Magic is on a very good position to upset Boston Celtics in their Eastern Semifinals NBA Playoff series. Orlando Magic stole game 1 from Boston 95-90 and routed Paul Pierce’s Celtics in game 3 with a whooping 117-96 finish. Celtics will continue to miss the services of Kevin Garnett due to knee injury. Game 4 is set to be played on Sunday May 10, 8PM ET.
Back in Atlanta, Cleveland shot down the Hawks and nailed game 3 and now leads the series 3-0. Final score 97-82. Lebron James looks to close out their series in game 4.
