Support Two of the Philippines Treasure of Nature

I just found out early this morning after getting a copy of “Libre” newspaper in MRT that the Philippines has it’s Chocolate Hills of Bohol and the Tubbataha Reef in Palawan nominated for “The New 7 wonders of the World”. Currently, our Chocolate Hills is at number 6 spot and the Tubbataha Reef slid down to number 13 from the 9th position.

The Current Top 7 Wonders of Nature are:

Ha Long Bay VIET NAM – Asia
Cox’s Bazar, Beach BANGLADESH – Asia
Ganges, River BANGLADESH/ INDIA – Asia
Amazon River, River/Forest BOLIVIA/ BRAZIL/ COLOMBIA/ ECUADOR/ PERU/ VENEZUELA – South America
Mount Everest, Mountain NEPAL – Asia
Chocolate Hills PHILIPPINES – Asia
Colca Canyon, Canyon PERU – South America

We have a very good chance of having two of our “Treasure of Nature” to be part of the New 7 Wonders of the World. It will just take at least 5 minutes of your time to get the vote counted. So I guess this could be a the perfect event to show the world how Filipinos will be united for a common goal. Let’s all use our blogs to help our Chocolate Hills and Tubbataha Reef to be the included to the new 7 wonders. Vote now!

please check the website, our chocolate entry is missing. i think its remove from the tally because the whole page is missing.

yah, this is weird. I e-mailed them and asked why the chocolate hills entry has been stripped out. suprisingly, the tubbataha reef in on 7th place now. thanks for the info.
