Philippines is known to be a tropical country and with these type of climate, a lot of delicious fruit bearing trees are found here in our country. Bananas are one of them. I grew up knowing that these lovely eating yellow fruit are small and the biggest that I have known is what we call
“saba” . I stand corrected it should be the
“Bungolan”This one definitely changed my perception,
one gigantic banana.

Any other big bananas out there?

DENR and other Philippine institution should be informed of this discovery.
Farms of this Large banana one of a kind should then be started, cultured, further studied for more possible farms and field harvests, to atleast be a part for the feedings to the less fortunate ones from Philippines and African countries.
