I just read from Technograph that Maxim Magazine has bundled a licensed and legit copy of GTA IV in their May issue covering Geneva Cruz. According to Rico, he himself visited a MiniStop branch near their office and ask the cashier if it is indeed true that you can buy Maxim Magazine and own a copy of Grand Theft Auto IV: Chinatown Wars and the result?

These pictures were taken by Rico of Technograph and confirmed that a legit copy of GTA IV was only Php 140. This has been the best deal I have ever heard for a PC game here in the Philippines. What are you waiting for? Buy Maxim Magazine now and play GTA IV right away.

The GTA IV packaging that was bundled with the May 2009 issue of Maxim Philippines (again, featuring Geneva Cruz) contained:

  • 2 DVDs containing the actual game
  • Map of Liberty City (the fictional city where Grand Theft Auto IV is set)
  • A “magazine” that actually doubles as the game’s manual
  • The “Survival Guide”, which details the extra PC-only features of GTV IV
