Re-directed to apps.advertlets.com?
Jan 5th
Just this afternoon, my sister site http://nursingcrib.com has experienced some kind of a re-direction that was cause by a script of Advertlets. Websites that are running the advertlets widget are being prompted that the domain has expired. If you are running the advertlet widget, please take it out now. I don’t know what happened to http://advertlets.com, it seems that their website has been hacked. Here’s how it looks like.
To remove the script, just login to your wordpress admin and take the script out on your sidebar.php. That should clear the problem out. I hope that advertlets will issue some explanations on this matter.
Feed your feeds: Increase RSS subscription
Sep 4th
Will this RSS cookie based wordpress plugin will do the trick of increasing your readership? If I were to answer this question base through some of the sites that I visit, I would say yes.
Yes, ‘coz aside from being a good writer themselves, adding this wordpress plugin definitely increases their chance of having a solid readership base. This is really cool. See it in action on top of my post and consider subscribing as well. Haha
How does it work?
By default, new visitors to your blog will see a small box above each post containing the words “If you’re new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!” After 3 visits the message disappears. You can customize this message, its lifespan, and its location.
This plugin requires cookies. Users without support for cookies will always see the new visitor message. It has been tested with WordPress 2.0, but it may work with earlier versions.
This add up to my target on how can I increase my rss feeds. Of course all of these plugins and links will be worthless if it doesn’t have a quality post at all. I’m in the hunt now of guides on how to be an effective writer hehehe.
